7 Cancer-Causing Foods You Should NEVER Eat

Cancer is the leading cause of most deaths worldwide. This is very alarming for people who are exposed to cancer-inducing environments. Some factors of this disease include the sun, pollution, second-hand smoke, stress, etc. Recent studies have shown that even popular foods can trigger it. Sounds scary! You might have just eaten one of them while reading this. These are the list of the cancer causing foods that we should be getting rid of.

1.Soda and Carbonated Beverages

Sodas have been at the center of the health debate for two decades as a major cancer causing food. Filled with high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), dyes, and a host of other chemicals, they are very bad for every aspect of your health. They provide zero nutritional value and rob your body of the nutrients you get from other foods. Adding “diet” to the label means you’re also likely consuming aspartame – which is no better than rat poison to human cells.

2.Farmed Fish

People are told to eat more fish all the time these days for the omega-3 fatty acids. As a result, it might seem frustrating to be told that farmed fish is not really any healthier than red meat if people take into account the entire cost and benefit analysis.

If you can’t give up your favorite movie-time snack, it’s time to switch to the old-fashioned stove top or a kernel popping machine like you see at movie theaters.

Cancer cells LOVE refined sugars, which spike insulin levels and and promote cancer growth. High-fructose corn syrup is considered the worst offender and it’s found in any sweet you can think of.

6.Genetically-modified organisms (GMOs)

It goes without saying that GMOs have no legitimate place in any cancer-free diet, especially now that both GMOs and the chemicals used to grow them have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth. But GMOs are everywhere, including in most food derivatives made from conventional corn, soybeans, and canola. However, you can avoid them by sticking with certified organic, certified non-GMO verified, and locally-grown foods that are produced naturally without biotechnology.

7.Hydrogenated Oils

Also known as trans-fats, hydrogenated oils are a man-made product whose chemical structure has been altered to increase shelf life. Chemicals are also used to mask the odor and change the taste of the oil. Research has confirmed that hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils present in industrial processed food double the risk of breast cancer.
